As a leading news and media agency, relocating their Brooklyn headquarters presented a valuable opportunity to design an engaging and uniquely inspiring space. By thoughtfully embracing the rich history of the Brooklyn Navy Yard and simultaneously paying homage to the company’s own longstanding heritage, the office space was transformed with a distinct rustic and industrial aesthetic. To effectively showcase the company’s diverse body of work, prominent features such as graphics, digital media, and photography were thoughtfully integrated throughout the environment.

Workspace for the people

To bring wayfinding into the expansive floorplate, color coding of room types has been developed. Each quadrant of the floor is assigned a color, to help employees quickly navigate the floorplate and find their destinations. A variety of seating arrangements within the meeting rooms allows for staff to choose the setting that best suites their meeting needs.

Interactive Moments

Located around every corner, unique moments allow for staff and visitors to create memories and instagram worthy shareable items. As a staff focused company, it is important to allow for each individual who comes into the space to be able to leave a memory of themselves behind.
