Furniture Specifications

As the New York headquarters for a prominent international insurance agency, creating a strong and memorable impression from the very moment you step off the elevator lobby was a top priority in the design process. With an expansive and thoughtfully planned floor layout that stretches seamlessly across an entire city block, distinct neighborhoods were carefully designed to provide a smaller, more intimate office feel for each individual department. These designated areas feature a variety of comfortable seating options tailored to suit different work styles, preferences, and specific needs. Additionally, the use of color-coded spaces not only enhances aesthetics but also assists with easy and intuitive wayfinding throughout the office. Strategically placed boulevard corridors further enable employees to quickly and efficiently navigate from one side of the office to the other, promoting productivity and smooth internal movement.

As the first impression of the NY headquarters, an informal reception space was created, to function as the main gathering space for employees, clients and visitors. All seats can be used as a work touch point, allowing for added flexibility in the entry space.

Pantry & Hydration Stations

Centrally located off of the main thoroughfare corridor, the main pantry serves as a gathering point for all employees. To supplement the food and water needs of staff, hydration stations were strategically located in each quadrant of the floor.

Secondary Hallway

Used as a main passageway from the East to West sides of the floorplan, the secondary elevator lobby and parallel hallway are meant to help display archival artwork. Lighting is used to help carry staff from one side to the other and create visual interest within the long corridor.
